About the Diving
The Big Island’s volcanic underwater topography is a diver’s wonderland. Lava tubes, bommies, arches and huge craters like “Au Au Crater,” create a spectacular backdrop for Hawaii’s many indigenous species of butterfly fish. Photographers will delight in the many patient subjects like Spanish Dancers, turtles, mantas and frogfish.

And of course – don’t forget the big animal encounters including whales and manta rays!

Trip Price
The Kona Aggressor has room for 14 guests, four sleep in one available quad stateroom on the upper deck ($2,435 per person, quad occupancy) and the other ten guests sleep in five deluxe staterooms ($2,635 per person, double occupancy) with queen size bed and a single bunk above.

The price includes accommodations aboard the yacht, diving, compressed air tanks, weights and weight belts, airport transfers on day of arrival and departure, meals (Saturday dinner through Saturday breakfast except Friday night dinner) and snacks, non-alcoholic and local alcoholic beverages. Nitrox is only $100 for the week.

DAN provides the only 24 hour a day, 365 day a year emergency hot-line to help local authorities coordinate life-saving services for injured divers. The organization moved from providing only emergency and research services into training about 10 years ago and many of the Scuba Shack instructors teach popular programs including Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Injuries, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries, AED Use for Aquatic Emergencies, and On-Site Neurological Assessment for Divers among other programs.

Plaza Resort Bonaire is only minutes from the international airport and truly is a tropical paradise with tropical plants, coconut palms and a white-sand beach right on the property.

The two bedroom non-smoking villas – each with two full baths – feature air conditioning, kitchen, dining area, color TV and Italian tiled floors. Plenty of room (1400 square feet-plus) is available for four adults to spread out in comfort.

Remember, since Bonaire is all about the great shore diving, each villa includes a rental truck that you can use to explore the island and go diving.
