The past weekend Scuba Shack was well represented at the 55th Annual Boston Sea Rovers Exhibition and Clinic. Exhibitors from around the world promoted the latest dive equipment, travel and training opportunities.
Throughout the weekend a variety of specialized workshops were offered in addition to an artifact exhibit, book and video signing, silent auction and film festival. The seminars included Sub Hunting: Searching for Lost Subs, Journey to the Brittanic, The Sharks of French Polynesia, etc.
Among the many industry names attending were Backscatter Photography, DAN, DUI, Dive Rite, Gates, Halcyon, Sherwood Scuba, and several travel agencies. Halcyon Manufacturing was represented by Ken Charlesworth displaying recreational and technical diving configurations. GUE instructors, Ed Hayes and Bob Sherwood, were available to answer questions about dive training.
One of the store’s technical service representatives, Dave Lockrow, sharpened his skills by attending PSI Dive Tank Inspector and Tech Series: Visual Cylinder Inspector update, Oxygen Cylinder Cleaning, Eddy Current Tank Inspection to maintain Scuba Shack’s high standard of service our customers expect.
Scuba Shack’s staff was represented by Ginamarie Hayes, Nick Civitillo, Gary “Senior” Woods, Fran Falanga, and Dima Tkachev. Thanks to the hard work by Sean and Frank Hayes that went into the creation of the display, many patrons positively commented on our booth’s design. Cheers to Matt Dunn and Olga, Mike and Lucille Cousins, Jeff and Donna Cinciripino with their scuba star son Matt for their visit and active support.
