Welcome back! Scuba Shack is heading off again to Honduras to dive the second largest barrier reef in the world! This August, join trip leader and Roatan expert Nick Civitillo on his fourth annual trip to CoCo View Resort in the Bay Islands.
Although a very popular destination within diving circles around the globe, CoCo View only has 26 rooms offering a laid-back atmosphere, great food and great diving. Heck, there is not even a road that leads to CoCo View – you need to take a five minute boat ride across the lagoon!
Many head to CoCo View to eat, sleep and dive, but there are some other great opportunities including modern attractions like zip lines, an iguana farm, shopping and island tours. And yes, there is a 100-foot plus wall just a snorkel away from the bar.
The hotel features two dining rooms, satellite TV, a pool table, lending library, and WiFi Internet access. All rooms do have air conditioning and an ocean view. Our package price include the regular ocean view rooms (what’s regular about an ocean view room?) but you have an option to upgrade to an over water room with ocean view for less than $75 for the week.
Join us in August as we dive on sites like Mary’s Place and Calvin’s Crack. CoCoView Resort provides our guests the best opportunity to log serious bottom time with two boat trips daily and shore diving that’s as varied and as easy as the boat diving.
The wreck of the 160’ long Prince Albert is sitting in 70’ of water literally a few finkicks from the shore and adjacent to 2 beautiful walls; CoCoView Wall and Newman’s Wall. Snorkelling for non-divers is included for all boat trips.
Have questions – give us a call or stop by today! Space is always limited.
