Advanced Open Water Diver

After you have completed your Enriched Air Nitrox and Core Principles programs with Scuba Shack, you are well on your way to completing your Advanced Open Water Class.

photo_generalThe Advanced Open Water class includes a minimum of five open water dives. The deep and underwater navigation dives are completed with your instructor and then you’ll complete at least three other training dives to complete the class.

Options for the three additional dives include boat diving, diver propulsion vehicle use, drift diving, drysuit diving, multilevel and computer diving, night diving, peak performance buoyancy, search and recovery, underwater photography, underwater videography, wreck diving and other options.

What You Need
Your own gear (rentals available). Complete medical statement, class materials and releases.

Your Commitment
Scuba Shack’s Advanced Open Water Course includes one night of academics, a full pool session, plus five open water dives.

Results to Expect
Learn more about diving and try out your choice of specialty activities underwater.

Class Fee
$400 plus materials, boat fees and park fees if applicable. Five dives are required, an option is to pay per dive, at $80 per dive.
(Minimum of three students required. Course feed does not include instructor expenses including, but not limited to airfare, shipping, accommodations, car rental, fuel, boat fees, admission fees, gas, and a $35 per-diem for personal expenses.)
