You don’t have to travel to some tropical destination to gain a deep appreciation of our ocean environment. There is plenty to learn and see here in New England. Scuba Shack is holding the PADI Underwater Naturalist specialty course on Oct. 6.
As part of this specialty course you will be provided the PADI Underwater Naturalist manual prior to the dives for your self-study. With this baseline knowledge, we will conduct a seminar at the dive site – Fort Wetherill in Jamestown, Rhode Island prior to your two dives.
The marine life in New England is fascinating. Gain a better understanding about the local ecosystem. See new things in even the most familiar dive sites.
The cost for this class is $210 and includes your manual, two instructor led dives, and the PADI certification card.
As a PADI Underwater Naturalist diver you are one step closer to becoming a PADI Master Diver – a noteworthy accomplishment.
Divers are responsible for all of their dive equipment and transportation to and from Jamestown, RI. Rental equipment is available. Contact us online or give us a call at (860) 563-0119 to register. Space for the class is limited.
