Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 5 No. 178.

We made it through January 2022. This time of year can be tough with the extreme cold, short days and snow and ice. I don’t know about you but I always feel a little better when we get to February and the days start to get longer. I know there is still a lot of winter left to go, but now we are on the downhill side. Next stop - Groundhog Day.

Our first open water class of the year finished up their confined water dives over the weekend. Congratulations to Kevin, Min and Cristiana. They were the first class to use our new Halcyon Infinity BC and it was absolutely fantastic. It was really great to see them take to the water with what we consider one of the best BCs in the world. Next up will be their open water certification dives.

Our Core Principles class has been pushed back a week. With the impending snow storm we thought it wise to move the class. There is just too much uncertainty with the forecast right now that we had to make an early call. Now I know what school superintendents face. That’s what happens when you live in New England. It seems to want to snow in the winter.

If anyone out there is thinking about signing up for our Ice Diver class scheduled for the end of February you will need to call us and get registered before February 4. We need the time to prepare everything for the class as this class requires a great deal of equipment and preparation. Please let us know soon if you want to dive under the ice.

And finally, we are always interested in hearing from everyone and giving us a review on google is a great way to let us know how we are doing. Please consider giving us a review. It shouldn’t take much time and really helps us out. Just click here. Thanks!

Until next week, stay warm and safe.

Jeff
