Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 5 No. 179.

Well it is official everyone. The groundhog did see his shadow. That means that there will be six more weeks of winter. Guess what? There are six more weeks of winter because there are really six more weeks of winter. Our weather recently certainly feels like winter. Hope you are staying warm and were able to dig out from last Saturday’s nor’easter.

Needless to say, the bad weather plays a little havoc with our schedule. We are hoping to get the first session completed this weekend for our Core Principles class. You might recall that we got snowed out last weekend. We are really tuned into the local weather forecasts these days. Looks like more bad weather is coming.

The service side has been extremely busy the past several days. This is the time of year that we get a lot of equipment from various public safety teams for their annual service. They want to ensure that their gear is ready when the weather warms up and more people are out on the water. If you need to get your stuff ready for 2022, please bring it in and we can ensure your dive season starts with your equipment all tuned up.

There is a new RSTC Medical Questionnaire. They have taken out any reference to Covid-19 which is a great sign moving forward. Our website links to the medical questionnaire have been updated if you want to take a look. As a reminder, a properly executed medical questionnaire is required for all training with Scuba Shack.

Until next week, take care and be safe.

Jeff
