Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 5 No. 175.

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all had a safe and restful New Year’s Day. We made it to 2022! I’ll forgo any prediction for this year. We just have to hang in there.

If you happened to listen to the latest episode of Scuba Shack Radio, you heard me talk about the double milestone for the podcast. I celebrated the start of season four along with my 75th show. Well what a coincidence, this starts the fifth year of Scuba Shack Weekly and is my 175th consecutive weekly blog. Another double milestone.

And not to be outdone with milestones, congratulations to Monty on his 25th anniversary as a PADI professional. His long and distinguished career with PADI is what makes Scuba Shack special.

It was quite a busy year-end. There are so many activities that have to wrap up as we close out each calendar year. Most of those activities are behind us now and we can focus our attention on getting ready for a busy month of January. We’ll kick things off tonight with our traditional new year staff meeting. We are back to doing this one by zoom. It is always great to get everyone together and get excited about the new dive season.

Hopefully one of your new year’s resolutions will be to get out there and dive more. Hey may be even under the ice!
