Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 5 No.182.

Wow. We are almost through February and it has been a busy month. Are you ready for the snow tomorrow. Uggh.

We had quite a bit of activity at the shop this past week and Saturday was very busy. We are very grateful to everyone who came by. Sunny was quite excited seeing all the folks in the shop as you might imagine.

With the Core Principles class finished, we turned our attention to the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). Bill and Jay have decided to take the plunge and become Open Water Scuba Instructors. This is an intense class of academics, practical exercises in teaching, pool sessions and open water training. We have a very busy schedule over the next 10 weeks. The plan is for Bill and Jay to finish up their PADI Instructor Exam (IE) in Fort Lauderdale in early May.

Our March Open Water class is full. April and May classes do have spots available. It’s not too early to reserve your date, especially if you are planning a trip or want to get certified in time for the New England dive season.

Joel and the team will be off to Cozumel on Saturday. Safe travels to all and have some great diving.

Our Little Cayman trip in October does have one space still available for a female diver.

Hope to see you soon at the shop or at one of our early season local dives.

Take care,

Jeff
