Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 6 No. 241.
The taste of summer that we had at the end of last week was certainly welcome. It is always nice to break out the shorts and t-shirts. We do need to remember that it is still spring here in New England and that our weather can turn very quickly. We can handle it.
The Scuba Shack crew led by Monty and Bill are still in Islamorada getting in some early season diving and training conducted. Congratulations to Mariia who completed her open water certification dives in the Keys. All four of our prospective divemasters, Shea, Sonja, Tom and Alfred are also in Islamorada working on their dives and scenarios. Joel also did three days of diving with the team.
I am starting our latest open water class tonight. Yes - I am back in the classroom. George and Ned will be helping out as we take our new group through their confined water dives. We will be at the pool for all five dives this Saturday and Sunday.
We also have something new in the world of underwater photography. In addition to our new lineup of SeaLife underwater camera gear, we’ve also developed a series of underwater photography workshops. Bill will be conducting the three workshops - one per month starting in early June. Check out the blog post.
Our tent sale is just about a week away. You never know what you might find. The tent sale is on Saturday April 29th from 10 am to 4 pm.
Don’t forget about our trip to Bigelow Hollow State Park on Sunday April 30. Also, Mike and Bill have a night dive planned for Stonington Point on June 9th. More details will follow.
See you all soon at the shop.
