Let’s wrap up February 2024

Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 7 No. 281.

It has certainly been a little quiet here at Scuba Shack after we finished up our first open water course and other training a few weeks ago. It has given us a bit of time to get caught up on some activities, like taxes. I am always happy when we finally finish up our return and get everything in order. Taxes are the one thing that we can all count on. 

Our divemaster class continues with more classroom sessions. Steven, Cheyenne, and Ian are working on all of their knowledge development. This past week they had two sessions with Bill and Mike. The plan is for them to be back at the pool in March with our open water class.

We also set up a drysuit class starting in March. Tom J. will be leading this one. It will start with a classroom/fitting session on Saturday March 9 and then they will head to the pool that afternoon for in-water training. After that, they will set up a time to conduct two open water dives to complete the certification. Tentatively that is being planned for early May. Space is still available if you are interested.

So now it is time to wrap up February 2024. Just seems like a few days ago that the groundhog told us spring was right around the corner. With March coming at us tomorrow like a lamb, yes Spring is just around the corner.
