Scuba Shack Weekly Volume 4 No. 173.

From all of us here at Scuba Shack we want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. It has been a very long couple of years with many ups and downs. We thought that we had put the pandemic behind us but it just keeps rearing its ugly head. We have been very fortunate to stay healthy through the pandemic. I know not everyone has been able to avoid the virus but hopefully you’ve made a full recovery. It has just been hard.

We will be closed both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year. We are going to take a few days to relax with family before we start our year end inventory. It is always a lot of work to get everything accounted for after a very long year. Good news is that we’ve completed the inventory of all of our rental equipment and have started the maintenance of the tanks. Seems like we never have enough time as the dive season kicks off again in January with our equipment specialist and first open water classes.

We are also working on the details for our Memorial Day Nassau Trip. Peter has been in contact with both Orange Hill and Stuart Cove’s so we should be having the trip all settled early in the new year. Peter is also working on the Covid testing and it is looking like we will again have it onsite at Orange Hill on Sunday afternoon, so we will be all set for the trip back to the US. What a great way to start the summer.
