Thanksgiving 2022 Edition

Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 5 No. 220.

I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone who continues to be a part of the Scuba Shack family a Happy Thanksgiving. As 2022 starts to wind down, I am reminded of how very fortunate we were this year. We had a fantastic training and travel year. While we are still not back to the pre-pandemic “normal”, it has been a productive year.

We did finally get all the details worked out for our Florida Keys trip in April. The dates are April 17 - 21, 2023. We’ve set up 5 2-tank boat dives each morning with Islamorada Dive Center. The trip is available for booking on our website. If you are interested in training with Scuba Shack while in the Keys, please give us a call and we can work out the details. We can do open water certification dives, advanced open water, or perhaps some other specialties. We want to keep this as flexible as we can.

While I am on the subject of dive travel, our Little Cayman 2024 trip is now open for you to reserve your spot. We are going in January 2024 for a great week of diving and dining. If you want to get a taste of what the trip is like, you can check out our Little Cayman 2022 trip video

We will be here on Friday and Saturday this week as we kick off the holiday season here at Scuba Shack. In addition to some great new products that we just got in, we have a number of close out items that are fantastic bargains. Hope you can swing by and say hello.

And by the way - I have been asked to be on A Dram of Diving - Power of Podcasting event on December 14. We are going to try to recreate our panel discussion from DEMA. The panel will be moderated by Tec Clark and feature James Blackman who hosts the Divers Ready YouTube channel, Stephan Whelan from Deeper Blue and Jason Meany of A Dram of Diving. This Facebook live event starts at 7:30 Eastern time. Should be fun.

Until next week, take care everyone.

Jeff
