Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 7 No. 273.

Happy New Year everyone and welcome to 2024. With the holidays and all of the year-end activities behind us it is time to turn our attention to the new year and all of the activities that lie ahead. Our calendar is very full and I will keep you posted on all of the upcoming events here on the weekly blog. I will try to give you more of a preview of things.

I started off the new year with a new season of Scuba Shack Radio - Season 6. I’ve made a few changes to the show and episode 128 is now available.

The first week of the year is always filled with final close out activities related to the business and this year was no different. Most of that is now behind me. It is now time to focus on the preparation work for the upcoming dive season. That always starts with getting our tanks inspected. Ned has been in this week working hard to finish up all of the customers tanks that came back from hydro and then the work began on the Scuba Shack tanks. 

Next Wednesday night at 6:30 we are having an information session on our Sea of Cortez trip in August. You can plan on coming by Scuba Shack or if you prefer you can join us by zoom. Please email the shop to let us know if you plan on attending.

Believe it or not, we are already planning our 2025 travel schedule. In addition to our normal Memorial Day Weekend trip in May, we recently booked two other trips. First, in late March 2025 the shop is heading to Dominica for a week at the Fort Young Resort. Then in October 2025 we have made arrangements for a 10-night trip to Lembeh, Indonesia. The Dive Into Lembeh Resort is our destination for this absolutely amazing dive trip. I will be posting details on our website soon.
