Scuba Shack Demo Days are your chance to get in the water with the latest dive equipment — guided by our expert instructors — before making a purchase decision. Whether you’re curious about DPV scooters, rebreather technology, or future events as we add them, these hands-on days are designed to give you real experience with real gear in real conditions.
Each Demo Day includes expert instruction, supervised in-water time, and the opportunity to ask all the questions you want. Spots are always limited to keep the experience personal. Check out our upcoming events below and reserve your spot early.

SUEX VR Scooter Demo Days
August 15 & 16, 2026 · 9:00 AM · $50
Get in the water and pilot a SUEX Scooter at Lake Hydra in Bethlehem, PA. Experience one of the industry’s leading DPVs firsthand with expert guidance. Your $50 fee can be applied to the purchase of a new SUEX scooter.

Hollis Prism 2 Rebreather Demo Day
Saturday, August 22, 2026 · $100
A full-day classroom and pool experience. Start with a rebreather theory session at Scuba Shack in Newington, then head to Middlesex YMCA in Middletown for an in-water pool session breathing on the Hollis Prism 2 CCR.
