The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to help certified divers improve their skills, gain confidence, and experience new types of diving under the guidance of a professional instructor. This course is all about adventure, experience, and exploration—with a focus on practical, real-world diving rather than classroom exams.

You’ll complete a series of five adventure dives, each designed to expand your abilities and introduce you to new underwater environments. With instructor supervision, you’ll refine your buoyancy, navigation, and situational awareness while discovering what kind of diving excites you most.

What to Expect

Five Adventure Dives, including:

Deep Dive (required)

Underwater Navigation Dive (required)

Three additional adventure dives based on availability and interests

Minimal classroom time with knowledge development tied directly to each dive
