71% of the Earth is covered by water and some of the richest and most diverse flora and fauna live under the waves.  Incorporating underwater photography and video into your set of underwater skills lets you take those experiences home with you.  With options that provide a low cost of entry while also being designed for immediate underwater use, modern digital cameras have opened the door to any diver wishing to capture and bring home images from their diving experiences.

Unlike traditional film cameras that require special equipment to capture even the most basic underwater images, digital cameras provide instant gratification, letting you capture images and view them immediately, puts you in full control of the editing process and lets you rapidly share your images with friends and family.
