Most days we will have four (4) dives. Up to twenty-six (26) dives are to be made on this trip. From zippy drift dives, slow reef dives, diving through bubbles venting from the sand below a dormant volcano, to muck dives at night. 

 The highlight of the trip are two (2) whale shark dives. These dives are in your face, up close, get out of the way, dives among these gentle giants of the sea. This is an experience you will never forget.

There are also the dives at “Manta Alley” where you will sit and watch giant mantas perform their ballet in front and above you. They are so close you can almost touch them.

You will also be able to participate in three (3) shore excursions. Two (2) island hikes and a trek to see the famous Komodo dragons guided by the Rangers of the Komodo National Park Rangers.

The crew of Mermaid 1 cannot do enough for you to ensure that you have the best experience. This is not “valet diving”, but close to it. The dive crew are ever present to assist you in getting ready for your dive and upon return from each dive. Upon returning from your nigh dives, hot chocolate or spice tea is served along with your personal warm towel.

The dinning room crew will ensure that you are well feed. From made to order eggs each morning to their three (3) entree buffet at lunch and dinner. Their pumpkin soup is to die for.
