Tec Gas Blender
The PADI Gas Blender program trains certified divers – who are already Nitrox certified – how to mix enriched air for scuba use. The programs second certification component – PADI Trimix Blender covers mixing trimix for both recreational and technical divers.

What will I need?
You’ll need DSAT Gas Blender Manual and CD-ROM.
What will my commitment be?
Eight hours of academic training plus practical internship.
What results should I expect?
You’ll learn the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary. Finally, you will learn the five methods of obtaining the desired enriched air nitrox mix and the various methods used to obtain proper helium mixes.
