11,000 and counting - Scuba Shack hits another milestone!

Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 7 No. 298.

The first week of Summer 2024 was certainly one for the record books. You never know though how the summer weather is going to go. Sometimes we have a lot of hot humid weather early in the season and then it cools off. Other times, we start off slow and build the heat over time. I am not a weather forecaster, but I think this year is going to be a hot one.

So the big news here at Scuba Shack is our surpassing 11,000 PADI certifications. That’s a big number. Over the years, Scuba Shack - PADI store number 38 has certified over 6,250 open water scuba divers. We want to say thanks to everyone who has helped us achieve this very significant milestone.

And we’re not done yet. Mike and Bill have finished up our latest confined water course this past weekend. Next up is open water certification dives at Brownstone Park this weekend. Also at the pool we had some practice going on along with a refresher course. Getting in the water is definitely one way to stay cool during the heatwave.
