Another Massive Pool Session, Last Call for Nassau, Stonington Point this Sunday

Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 5 No. 187.

Welcome to the end of March 2022. I did not expect the bitter cold weather earlier this week. It is a reminder that winter has a mind of its own. It always gives us more.

We had a lot of activity over the weekend. Monty was at the shop with Jay and Bill, conducting the IDC with Tom and Rob’s help. They then headed to the pool for confined water teaching. While at the pool, Matt conducted a discover scuba for two followed by an introduction to snorkel class. After the shop closed, Donna came to the pool and finished up a scuba review with Mary’s help. The weekend wasn’t over. On Sunday, we were back at the pool. Monty continued his IDC work. I worked with Mary on Divemaster skills and Deb did yet another ReActivate. And to top it all off, Mike finished up his introduction to doubles class with Ned, Duyet, and Brian. What an incredible weekend of training in the pool.

Earlier on Saturday morning, I also conducted a Nitrox class for two. I consider Nitrox certification to be one of the most important classes for all divers. If you only have one class to take in your diving career, this would be the one.

We are getting ready to close out the Nassau trip. Right now there are a couple of spots open and we will need to give Stuart Cove our final numbers soon. If you want to kick off the 2022 dive season in some clear, warm water, with plenty to see, check out our Nassau trip.

Our Stonington Point dive this Sunday is looking good. Come on down and join us for our “We’re No Fools” dive. It should be fun.

Time to put the winter behind us. Until next week, take care, everyone.

Jeff
