Back from Atlantis, Getting Ready for DEMA, and more

Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 6 No. 265.

We are back from our outstanding trip to the Philippines and our incredible diving adventure with Atlantis Dive Resort in Dumaguete. We spent 10 nights at the resort which included 8 days of diving and ending with an excursion to the neighboring island of Cebu for some snorkeling with whale sharks at Oslob. We had been planning this trip since late 2019 and we finally made it. Our 26 divers and one non-diver had an absolutely amazing journey. And now it is back to reality or at least for a little bit. It is that time of year when we are setting our sights on the DEMA Show. This year the show is happening in New Orleans. I am busy getting my schedule together as I have a lot to get to while down there. My week starts with the DEMA Board of Directors meeting on Sunday and then I will be doing my presentation on new diver motivation on Tuesday. Monty, Bill, Tom, Jay, and Nancy will also be making the journey down to the Big Easy.

Now that we are into November, we are also making preparations for our Black Friday and Small Business Saturday event. More details will follow as we get closer.

We still have few spots open for our Foundations and Principles of Diving course in December. This class is a great way to end 2023 and get ready for the 2024 dive season.
