Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 4 No. 151

Are you ready for some dry weather yet? Funny how things are so different from year-to-year. Last year it seems like we couldn’t find a raindrop and this year - wow - it sure does feel like it rains everyday.

The gang (Monty, Matt, Ned, Bill and Zach) is back from another successful trip to Dutch Springs. First off, congratulations to Shea and Ivan on their dry suit diver certification. Also congratulations to our three new advanced open water divers as well - Shea, Peter and Mark. The advanced open water course at Dutch Springs is really a lot of fun for everyone. The drive and dive was also a great opportunity for Bill, Ivan, Steve and Casey to get in some nice diving. Matt reported great visibility and water temperatures that range from the 70s to the 50s as you made it through a couple of thermoclines. Sounds like a great weekend.

Alex has started another open water course this week. The class of 8 is scheduled to hit the pool this weekend.

We just got word that Ron will be presenting at this year’s Boston Sea Rover clinic in October. Ron’s presentation “You Were in a Diving Accident - What Happens Now?” His presentation is on Saturday October 2, 2021 at 11:00 am. Get your tickets now at Boston Sea Rovers.

If you haven’t seen it, Monty is running a charter with Cape Ann Diver 2 for a double-dip on the Chester Poling. This trip is on Thursday, September 30 - a prelude to Boston Sea Rovers. There are limited spots and you can book your seat online. Check it out.

The latest edition of Wet Notes is on Scuba Shack TV.

And stay tuned soon for some exciting news about some new dive travel opportunities. We are working on some final touches as well as enabling online booking. Can you guess where we are going next?

Until next week - hope you are enjoying the summer.

Jeff
