Getting Ready to Travel

Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 7 No. 288.

I hope that everyone is doing well this week and enjoyed the few days of spectacular weather we had earlier in the week. It was so energizing to see the sun and feel the warm temperatures. The warmth helped kick up the blooming of some of the flowers and trees making for some very nice color.

It is time to get ready for spring travel. Actually, it already started. Tom J headed down to Dominica to check out Fort Young. Tom is planning to lead a trip down to the island in April 2025 and wanted to experience all it has to offer. Stay tuned for an update. Also, our divers who are going to Islamorada got together Friday night to go over all the plans and prepare their checklist for the upcoming journey.

Peter led the trip meeting for the Memorial Day Weekend trip to Grand Cayman. This is the second year that the trip is heading to Sunset House. Peter made a few changes from last year that put Scuba Shack touches on the diving. Unfortunately Donna and I will not be able to go this year because of other commitments. Sunset House is one of our favorite places to get away for some very relaxing diving.
