Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 5 No. 189.

Happy Easter everyone. Even though the holiday is much later this year, it still seems to have snuck up on us. We are almost a full month into spring and finally, the weather is beginning to act a lot more like spring. We live in New England and you just never know how it will be from one day to the next. But I am guessing everyone enjoyed the warm weather earlier this week.

Last Sunday, Monty led the Scuba Shack group up to Bigelow Hollow State Park for our latest shop dive. It had been a number of years since Scuba Shack officially visited the park. Unfortunately, I was under the weather and could not make the trip. Bill reported visibility at 10 to 15 feet with a water temperature of 48. Still too early to see any fish however. Now that we have made our way back to Bigelow Hollow, we’ll need to think about our next dive up there. Fresh water; no rinse.

On Saturday, the IDC continued with some final lectures and presentations. Bill and Jay are nearly completed and have just a few more sessions including some open water teaching at Jamestown this weekend. They are on target for the PADI Instructor Exam down in Fort Lauderdale in early May.

Next up - our April open water class.

Take care,

Jeff
