Happy Veteran’s Day, Open Water Class, Annual Service and more.

Scuba Shack Weekly Volume 4 No. 167.
First off this week, I want to salute all of our veterans out there. Serving in the military is certainly a sacrifice that many of us have made. And while there is always friendly rivalry among the various branches of the service, we all come together when serving our country.
This week Lizzy and Ron have started our final open water class for 2021. This class of seven was put on the schedule for those who are planning to do referrals to a warmer location. They will be in the pool this Saturday and Sunday. Good luck to all as they start their underwater adventure.
This time of year we start our transition from the New England dive season to our year-end activities. We are beginning to initiate the annual maintenance on our tanks, regulators, and BCs. We want to ensure that all of our gear is ready for 2022. As you can imagine we have a LOT of gear, so it takes some planning and a lot of hard work to get everything set to go. Also, we have some exciting news when it comes to training equipment for 2022. Stay tuned for an update in a few weeks.
Our hours on Black Friday (11-26) will be from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and then on Small Business Saturday (11-27) we will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We hope that you will plan on stopping by and saying hello. Grab a cup of hot chocolate or some apple cider.
Matthew and I are off to Las Vegas on Monday for the Dive Equipment Marketing Association (DEMA) Show. Even though there are a lot of exhibitors who have chosen not to go this year, we have a very full schedule with various seminars, training, and appointments. Look for my DEMA recap on Scuba Shack Radio in a couple of weeks.
Until next week, take care.
