The countdown is on until the Scuba Shack crew descends on Little Cayman for a week of diving at the Little Cayman Beach Resort. As a reminder the shop will be closed the week of October 21 and will reopen again on October 28.

Unfortunately the dives on the Chester Poling were blown out again. Seems this time there was a Nor'easter out there kicking up a lot of wind and large swells. Ocean diving this time of year in New England is sometimes a challenge. Looks like the wreck class will need to finish up in 2020 with some better weather.

We are very pleased to announce that we now have Henderson wetsuits in stock. We decided to get a number of 3 mm and 5 mm men's and women's suits in various sizes. Henderson has a great reputation with a wide selection of sizing options. If you are in the market for a durable high quality wetsuit come by and check them out. Becoming a Henderson dealer was an important goal for us in serving our clients.

When we were in Key Largo we had the opportunity to attend a REEF fish identification class and do a couple of surveys with Amy Lee – REEF's Trips Programs and Communications Manager. It was great to read that Amy has been selected as a DEMA Wave Maker Awards Finalist. Congratulations Amy. Hope to see you at DEMA and maybe be back at REEF HQ again in April.
