The 2022 Northeast dive season is in full swing. Our calendar is quite full for the next several months as we continue to train and dive. If there is something you don’t see on our calendar or have something that you want to do, please give us a call and we can chat about how we can help make your 2022 dive season more rewarding.
Over the past weekend, Monty completed open water certifications for two public safety divers. Additionally, they plus another diver completed their dry suit and full-face mask training and certification.
Alex has started our latest open water class with George assisting. This class of four started with their first classroom session with a review of dive planning. They will be back here at Scuba Shack to go over all of the equipment and fitting of their Halcyons for the upcoming confined water sessions this weekend.
In case you missed it, I recently did a short video excerpt from my book - Your Next Dive. The excerpt is about our Hawaiian monk seal encounter from a dive we did off Lanai way back in 2010. I was fortunate to have my Sony HD camera on that dive and captured this critically endangered species out there in the wild.
Until next week, take care everyone.
