SeaLife Returns to Scuba Shack, Exciting travel on tap, and more

Scuba Shack Weekly - Volume 6 No. 239.

First off this week, I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter and also once again thank all of you who continue to support Scuba Shack.

We have several big developments here at the shop. First, SeaLife cameras, lights and accessories have made their return to Scuba Shack. We have re-established our relationship and are now a full-line dealer for SeaLife. We have started out with the SeaLife Micro 3.0 Pro 3000 camera kit and the SeaLife SportDiver Smartphone Housing. I am impressed with how well thought out their products are and how elegant they are in their simplicity.

On the travel front, 2024 is now taking shape. We did set up Little Cayman for January 2024 and that trip is already filling up. So we added some more exciting travel. How does the Sea of Cortez sound? Well, we have booked the Rocio del Mar liveaboard for August 2024 and then the Shack is heading to the Brac. In October 2024, we are set to go to Cayman Brac Beach Resort. The details of both these exciting travel opportunities will be posted on our website soon. Incidentally, Donna and I will be checking out the Rocio del Mar this July.

We are also in the process of putting together several underwater photography workshops that will start in June. It will be a three workshop series that Bill will run. The workshops will cover gear selection, basic techniques, practical experience and post-production. Stay tuned for more detailed information soon.

The Divemaster class was back in session on Tuesday night. This time they were out in the repair shop for a clinic on the various services we perform. They are all on track for completing their professional certification later this spring.

Also - if you want to get an early season dive in this spring, Scuba Shack will be at Bigelow Hollow on Sunday April 30 for some training.

Let the warm weather begin.

Take care,

Jeff
