Well if you haven’t had your touch of spring fever up until now. Wow! The weather for the first part of this week has been absolutely spectacular. The bright sunshine and warm temperatures made for fantastic viewing of the solar eclipse. It did not get as dark as I thought it would around here but for those who traveled to the path of totality I guess it got quite dark for a few minutes.
What better way to end the day of the eclipse than with another national championship for the UCONN Huskies men’s team. That was a really great game if you are a UCONN fan. Ready for a three peat?
Over the weekend Jay and Monty finished up another confined water class at the Middlesex YMCA. Congratulations to the latest group of open water students and looking forward to their certification dives next month. Bill and Mike were there with our divemasters in training as they continued to work on their skill demonstrations. Tom A conducted a refresher course while Nancy was in the pool with a discover scuba.
Earlier this week I recorded and posted the latest episode of Scuba Shack Radio - Episode 135. I did a piece on extinction and how we still don’t seem to learn our lessons. Check out my message from Martha.
The hard copy of the March Scuba Diving Industry Magazine arrived this week and my article on how to start a podcast to support your business has been published. You can check out the digital version by clicking the link above.
Until next week - take care everyone.
