Scuba Shack Weekly – Volume 2, Number 38

Late summer is producing some really great weather this year. Hope you are enjoying September so far.

We completed our last official 2019 trip to Dutch Springs this past weekend. We had a great dive season down there. They are offering a really great deal if you want to get a season pass for 2020. Check out their website for details. Take a look at some of the shots from the trip.

It will be a really busy week here at the shop. Here's the run down. We will be at the New Britain YMCA on Tuesday night for pool practice and refreshers. Phil will be conducting part one of Emergency First Response class. Joel is starting another open water class on Thursday night. Monty and I will be at the Boston Sea Rovers meeting on Thursday night. And there's more.

Phil along with Peter, Jill, and Dave will be conducting Rescue Class Saturday and Sunday. Finally, Monty and Mike will be taking their wreck class to Cape Ann to dive the Chester Poling. We also have Nitrox class on Saturday. Wow what a week!

Due to an unavoidable schedule change for one of our divers, we now have a spot open for a male diver for the Little Cayman trip. Please call the shop as soon as possible if you are interested in coming down to Little Cayman with us on Oct. 20 – 27.

Finally, we will be conducting our second PADI Underwater Naturalist class at Fort Wetherill in Jamestown, Rhode Island on Sunday, Oct. 6. This is a really cool course and will definitely open your eyes to the wonders of New England diving. Please consider joining us and be amazed at the information Deb provides. Call the shop to register for the course and get all the details.

Off to the pool to check out my new Halcyon Traveler BC.

Thanks for tuning in,

Jeff
