We have now entered the final month of 2022. Welcome to December everyone. We are racing toward the holidays as we see 2023 on the horizon. There is still a lot of activity going on here at the shop this month with year-end inventory, our fleet equipment service, staff planning sessions and oh yes, retail sales as folks look to check off that gift of scuba gear from their list or maybe just give themselves a little present. We’ve got some great specials at the shop, so come on in and check out the deals.
We did open up our first quarter training calendar for open water classes a couple of weeks ago and now we’ve added some additional offerings. In January, we’ve opened up several Discover Scuba Diving spots for those interested in finding out just what it is like to breathe underwater. We also added spots for pool skill refresher training. If you have been out of the water for a while and are planning a trip, this is a great opportunity to get in the pool with a Scuba Shack professional and practice. You can find these sessions online and reserve your spot.
We are quickly approaching the deadline for signing up for the Bonaire trip. If you are thinking about escaping from the cold New England winter this February, you can come on down with us to Divi Flamingo on Bonaire for a week of diving. But you’ll have to sign up by December 17. We have to finalize our reservation by then. If you're still on the fence, you can check out the trip details and sign up online here - Bonaire 2023.
Finally, we will be starting our PADI DIvemaster class in January. We already have several people who will be in the class as they start their professional journey in scuba. If you are already a PADI Rescue Diver, you are eligible to start the PADI Divemaster program. Give us a call if you are interested in becoming a dive professional.
